Raven Early College Academy

At the Raven Early College Academy students enroll in college-level courses while completing their high school diploma requirements.

• Raven Early College Academy Provides students the opportunity to begin college-level coursework while still in high school. Through a rigorous and supportive academic program, students can earn both high school and college credits at the same time. 
• This model allows students to experience the expectations of college academics while benefiting from the structure and guidance of a high school environment.
• Provides students an opportunity to complete a series of pre-set courses that will allow them to meet the Cal-GETC general education and/or an associate's degree or career certificate requirements and the high school graduation requirements at the same time. 
• HBCU Pathway: Guidance and admission opportunities to 30+ Historically Black Colleges and Universities. 
• Students can earn up to two years of college credits toward a bachelor's degree in high school at no-cost to students.

Requirements: 

• Current 8th graders throughout the district 
  • Minimum GPA 2.5 overall 
• Students who want an early start on college 
• Students who want a wide selection of classes 
• Students who are interested in earning one to two years of college credit while in high school
