The Language Assessment Center is Responsible for:

Administering the California English Language Development Test to all incoming English Language Learner students (Initial Identification)

Administering the California English Language Development Test to all English Language Learner students annually

Administering the Primary Language Assessment (IPT- Oral/LAS Reading /Writing- Spanish -as required)

Hand scoring students’ language assessments

Initiating English Learner Multilingual Folder

Conference with Parents’ regarding program options, student’s language assessment results, and program recommendation

Communicating assessment results to all sites

Facilitating English Learner Transfers
