Overview

Educational Services Division provides guidance, support and monitoring to all schools as they implement district-adopted curriculum, staff development and instructional improvement programs, programs for special education and English learner students, assessment and accountability systems, and student services.

College and Career Readiness

We support Goal 2 of the Superintendent’s expectations and outcomes: Establish college and career readiness for every student. 

Equity and Access

The Equity and Access Department works to provide needed fiscal support to school sites primarily through the use of Federal funds.

Early Childhood Learning/ Headstart

Early Childhood Learning provides high quality early learning experiences at no cost through our Head Start and California State Preschool programs.

Elementary Education

Elementary Education provides guidance, support and monitoring to all programs at elementary schools and early childhood learning programs.

Multilingual

The Multilingual Department provides educational and technical support to school sites ensuring students receive a meaningful education.

Professional Development and Digital Learning

The Professional Development and Digital Learning​ Program is designed to support staff with implementing standards and  curriculum.

Secondary Education

Secondary Education provides guidance, support and monitoring to middle and high schools.

Special Education

The Moreno Valley Unified School District Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) provides services to all individuals with exceptional needs. 

Student Services

The Student Services Department provides support to students and families to help improve student performance.
