Retiree Benefit Information and Forms

MVUSD values its employees and the years of service they provide. As a thank you for all their hard work, we offer a robust benefits program to retirees.

As a District Retiree you may be entitled to receive a zero cost Anthem HMO (individual coverage) plan, or you may elect for the District's contribution to be applied towards a health plan of your choice. The District benefit will be paid until you reach 65 years of age.

*At an additional premium, you may elect to maintain your dependents on your coverage.

Who is eligible for district paid benefits?

Certificated Employees: If you are at least 55 years of age and if you have 10 years of service with the District.

Classified Employees: If you are at least 55 years of age and if you have 10 years of service in a full-time capacity (12 months, 8 hours or a minimum of 20,800 hrs.) with the District.

If you decide to retire, please notify Human Resources in writing.
