About the Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee
As set forth in Prop 39, the purpose and duty of the Citizen's Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) is to inform the public concerning the District's expenditure of bond proceeds. The CBOC shall review expenditure reports produced by the District to ensure that bond proceeds were expended only for the purposes set forth in Measure M and Measure X, respectively. The CBOC shall also present to the Board, in public session, an annual written report for the Measures.

About the Measures
On November 4, 2014, voters residing within the District passed Measure M, which authorized $398,000,000 of general obligation bonds.
On November 5, 2024, voters residing within the District passed Measure X, which authorized $240,000,000 of general obligation bonds for needed repairs, upgrades, and new construction projects to the District’s schools.
Both Measure M and Measure X were approved substantially by more then the requisite 55% majority.
