Chromebooks for New Students

All New Students, Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Students

Due to the ongoing health crisis, we will be starting the year using a distance learning model from August 12, 2020 to October 30, 2020. To help facilitate your child’s learning, we are pleased to inform you that we will provide students who are new to the district with a Chromebook where they will be able to connect with their teacher and complete their school work. These Chromebooks are critical for your child to participate in distance learning and will stay with your child during their educational journey in Moreno Valley Unified.

Chromebooks are available at the District Office. In an effort to observe social distancing norms, students are not required to accompany parents when picking up Chromebooks. However, you do need to be prepared with the student's information. Additionally, all people on site are asked to wear a protective face covering.

Is Clever not working?
Restart your Chromebook. If that did not work, clear your "cache" by following these instructions:
  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More.
  3. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  5. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
  6. Click Clear data
