The Mission of the Purchasing Department is to:

  • Encourage open competition among vendors through fair negotiation, competitive bidding and contract buying.
  • Provide students with supplies and textbooks needed to support academic achievement.

**Important Upcoming Dates**


  • Friday, March 29, 2019 – Last day to submit PO Change Orders to Purchasing
  • Monday, April 15, 2019 - Last day to enter Requisitions that require receiving
  • May 6, 2019 – Last Date that new 2018 – 19 contract requests will be processed. All contract requests received by this date will be taken to the May 21, 2019, board meeting for approval.
  • Friday, June 14, 2019 – Last day to use Blanket /Open PO’s (excluding Contracts, Utilities, Construction, Bond, Maintenance, Transportation, Special Education and Head Start Departments)
  • Friday, June 28, 2019 – All Purchase Orders closed
